CREATE: Career Inspiring Program for High School Students

Well, look what I did. I signed up to help guide a high school team to compete in the #sacramento CREATE program!

This is us at last night's kick off meeting where I got to meet Sacramento's Teacher of the Year, the architecture lead at California State University-Sacramento and several other dedicated and caring folks from many Sacramento A/E/C companies.

CREATE inspires high school students to pursue careers in the built environment which includes #architecture, #engineering, and #construction.

We are so fortunate to have dedicated mentors and supportive board members from the Construction Industry Education Foundation to volunteer their time to help us through this.

We will end this journey with presentations from the students in December. I know I'm going to learn a lot myself.
